Frequently Asked Questions

When are services held?

Contemporary services are held on Saturdays at 5:30 PM. Traditional services are on Sundays at 9:15 AM.

Are there Bible Studies?

Yes! Every Sunday after church, Bible Studies are held in the fellowship hall. In the Fall and Winter months, Bible Study is offered Wednesday mornings at 10:00 AM in the church.

How often is communion given?

Communion is offered at all Saturday and Sunday services. We invite to His table at Good Shepherd all those who trust in His Word, repent of their sins, and set aside refusal to forgive and love just as we have been loved and forgiven by God.

Are the services traditional?

Yes, our Pastor aligns fully with Biblical text and adheres to the time-honored liturgy or the Lutheran Church/Missouri Synod.

Is nursery/Sunday School available?

We have an equipped nursery for parents to bring their children if needed. We don’t have a Sunday School at this time, but the future is promising!

Can I be baptized at Good Shepherd?

We baptize both infant and adults after conferring with Pastor. The LCMS states that “baptism confirms the grace of God upon adults who have already come to faith, and strengthens them in their faith, even as the Lord’s supper does.”
